"Door-Step" Plan

The “Doorstep” for Creating Community
Through the Foggy Bottom Farm
Website

The main concept here is to create a forum that will allow visitors  to our Foggy Bottom Farm website to become interactive.  Using our three major areas of interest, Personal Growth, Fine Art & Fine Craft, and Holistic Living, we can start the process rolling by stating how we will help extend our Participant’s present views of their world by expanding their consciousness.  This will happen by demonstrating how each person can utilize personally particularly meaningful facets of each of our areas of interest can be grown by using concepts and experiences from each other---by interacting and sharing them with others.

Our Presenters and Participants
Will Come From Here!

To accomplish this, we are inviting visitors to our website to chose one of our three areas that is of primary interest to them, and then think of a question they would want to ask someone pertaining to something interesting within each of the other two areas that will overlap with theirs.

These questions, as they are answered, will form the starting point for the basis of a forum that in and of itself is interactive. This concept, that will be extended, by allowing the interchange of e-mails through our website, will become the basis of a membership by subscription website.  Once the forum is in operation and generates enough interest and interaction we will have our subscription membership website.  Our aim is to produce enough quality content to make your reasonably priced subscriptions worthwhile.  Until that time we will publish selected blogs and articles from our visitors.

All visitors, whether they are or become Participants or Presenters, or both, are invited to submit articles  or blogs about themselves and their interests to be published on this website.

Also, if you have a book or a DVD you would like to sell, we can help you with this.  If you have a website, we can provide a link for you and offer you a very comfortable commercial relationship with us.  Please contact us for more information.

From this basis, programming will form, and, since it will be selected and supplemented by visitors who will become Participants and those Participants who will become Presenters, it will form the basic infrastructure not only of the Foggy Bottom Farm Website, but of the activities we offer as well.  We are here to meet and expand your interests!

And, of course, we will be inviting Presenters to our website as well.  We are also open to referrals for Presenters in any part of our Areas of Interest, again, Personal Growth, Fine Art  & Fine Craft, and Holistic Living.

The interchange of this information will also form blogs which can be published on our website.  Also, these interchanges can form questions and answers to be presented to stimulate further interaction among both Presenters and Participants, at first by a forum and then by an interchange  of e-mails through this website.

From this, the Presenters’ structure can grow and flow into the kind of structure we have envisioned from our start, this being the “Doorstep” needed to get visitors involved and become Participants and Presenters as we originally planned.

For example, someone interested in holistic living could ask a question, or make a statement about, how fine art/craft  can be used as part of a design feature of some aspect of their home, which, in turn can be extended to enquire how that delightfully presented feature will create  better health possibilities so one including these in their life can find the greatest enjoyment with it.

Someone interested in the fine arts/crafts could become interested in how what they are doing can be applied to make holistic building practices visually appealing and thus be more restful  and calming to someone who is growing on  personal level by healing from a traumatic situation.

And, someone interested in personal growth could develop their own personal process concerning how upward spiraling inspiration can be found in healthy living coupled with enjoying fine art/fine craft as a consequence of creating a visually soothing and uplifting environment.

We cordially invite you to join with us for what we are planning to be a most worthwhile personal growth, fine art & fine craft  and holistic living adventure and experie
